This note is intended to serve as a recommendation for Sandra Valk and Franz Edlinger Photography. I had the pleasure of working with them on my wedding. I am a person who is not at all comfortable in front of a camera, and despite this, the photographs were beautiful! There are a number of reasons for this, and I’d like to share a few with you. Franz’s talent goes beyond simply taking a picture. Every time I look through my pictures, I am amazed by his creativity and willingness to explore all the potential of his subjects. These subjects are anything and everything, the main ones in my wedding being people, flowers, trees and architecture. He knows when a scene could be lacking something and also if it’s too busy. He knows when something isn’t part of a subject and if it is cluttering the image. He just knows!
His partner Sandy also has an amazing eye for detail. She has a lovely grace about her that is very beneficial to a nervous bridal party. She can quickly put everyone at ease. The two of them were a delight to work with. Never once were either of them imposing, which can be very easy to do to a bride on such an emotional day! They were both as comfortable in the church as at the rehearsal dinner and the reception. The two of them are blessed with great talent. They are also both good natured, extremely likable and enthusiastic about their profession. I feel confident you would be well served by this team! |

I have had several photographic/projects that Franz and Sandy did for us in 2008/2009.We chose them because they have done events and sessions for same throughout the community. These have included weddings, concerts and a multitude of events that serve as testimonials to their abilities.
The most important task that they accomplished for us in 2008 was our daughter’s wedding. Although the venue was not that big ; the coverage afforded by both Franz and Sandy captured all those festive moments that might have been missed. Over 700 “creative” proofs were available for review .They captured the full aspects with clarity and minimal redundancy.

Mel Litoff:
He has been the official photographer for the Belleayre Music Festival concerts and events for more than 10 years. His work is always excellent. In fact many of the artists he has photographed live have used these picture on their web sites and promotional materials.
Last year, Broadway and TV star Bebe Neuwirth demanded a review of all photos taken at her concert before posting on our web site (she is notoriously picky) she approved every shot and was very complementary of the quality.
It takes a certain eye and skill to shoot live events unobtrusively and produce great pictures - Franz has those skills.
